Face lift surgery is the most effective surgical technique among facial rejuvenation procedures. Sagging excess skin is surgically removed and the skin is redraped in this operation, and redraping procedure is applied to the underlying tissue that connects the underlying muscles with the subcutaneous SMAS skin. Thus, the result becomes more successful and lasting.

There are various types of the surgery based on the needs of the patients, and the suitable technique is selected after a detailed examination considering numerous factors such as the amount of ptosis of skin in the patient, areas with less or more ptosis, the condition of the underlying bone support structure, subcutaneous fatty tissue thickness, and whether the person has accompanying diseases.

An entire face lift surgery is often in the shape of a combination of a surgery where the position of the temple area and eyebrows can be adjusted, midface and cheeks are redraped and ptosis in the neck is corrected.

The patient is informed about the location of the scars and final results of the operation planned in the interview before the operation.

The operation is performed under general anesthesia in the operating room. It takes 3 to 6 hours based on the type of operation planned. The duration of hospital stay is about 1 to 2 days.

Facial bandages are removed on the postoperative 3rd day, and the face and neckband are put after the medical dressing. 

The time to stay in Turkey after discharge is one week for our patients who come from foreign countries.

Neck Lift surgery is often performed with face lift surgery, but it can be performed alone if needed. It is the surgery where the saggy skin on the neck area is surgically removed, the fatty tissue on the jowl area is removed and platysma (continuance of SMAS in the face area) under the skin is redraped.

Face and neck lift surgeries can be performed in combination with blepharoplasty operation and facial fat injection surgeries, if needed.
